Business Management and Clinical Support Tools
Practice Support now offers four distinctive tools that can support general practice to develop and enhance delivery and quality of primary health care services by improving business efficiencies and patient information whilst gaining a greater understanding of the practice demographics. Click here for the Information Management (R)evolution flyer.
1. Practice Systems Analysis A tool developed to identify the efficacy of systems management within general practice. Beyond Accreditation, it evaluates six systems including Clinical Services, Financial, Human Resources, Facilities, Patient Services and Management. Based on a consultancy process, the Practice Systems Analysis encourages ‘best practice' within general practice. A comprehensive report is provided with extensive feedback and recommendations.
2. Practice Health Atlas ® An excellent decision-support tool which provides expanded potential for your practice. It identifies essential demographics for business and clinical modelling. De-identified data is extracted for the patient management and billing software which is then coupled with a Geographic Information System and several data sources to provide a most informative and valuable report. The Practice Health Atlas ® provides tangible evidence for any practice applying for ‘area of workforce shortage'.
3. CAT PEN Clinical Audit Tool is a clinical information system that operates on the GP clinical desktop to identify specific target areas within the practice data. It also readily identifies quality and completeness of patient information. It is very user-friendly which provides specific feedback with a few clicks of the mouse. Suitable for MD2-3, Best Practice and Genie.
4. Canning Tool A similar tool to CAT for use with the MedTech32, MD2, MD3, Best Practice, Medical Spectrum and Practix.
