Information on Expedition Medicine Short Courses
and Special Skills Post. Currently courses aimed at rural GPs. GPTT currently revamping courses at present and updating website. From 2009 will offer courses to all GPs. Courses offered and cost (per person) are Basic Trauma Management ($1,000), Advanced Cardiac Resuscitation ($750), Emergency Procedures Day ($750), Approach to Medical Emergencies ($750). A Basic Life Support course that meets QA & CPD requirements for CPR is offered gratis when participants attend two of the other courses.
